In this chapter the serie's characters made a play like a charity action. Blair isn't accepted in Constance because this University (one of the most important of the USA)only accepts on girl per course, and she wants to take revenge for that.
Serena loves the play's director because he is an important person in art world and he's very recognized. But Serena isn't as cultured as the director about the art world, so she make a plan with Vanessa to speak with director and be known. The plan consists in Vanessa tells Serena all what she has to say in every moment through a headset.
Nate inadvertently listens to what Vanessa says and he thinks she tells that to the director. After that, Nate ruins the play because he says to all public what think about director. Finally Vanessa tells Nate that all has been a misunderstandiy.
